Confirmed from Emporia All Veterans Memorial's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a tribute to veterans with a bridge, river, and trails, plus a zoo.
What runners say about Emporia All Veterans Memorial
“I love how well maintained this memorial is.”
“A beautiful veterans park in the city that founded Veterans Day.”
Such a great memorial. They've really produced a moving experience for anyone who visits. Take the walk, it's well worth it.
It's a safe relaxed familiar place. Has a nature trail and a first hand view directly over the Cottonwood River.
Wonderful Historical Memorial exhibit. So proud I got to see this place. It's worth the time. And a beautiful waterfall and nature trail. Found an old plow spike down the trail. Left it at the foot of the flagpole. Its historical and belongs there.
I love how well maintained this memorial is. The path is clear and clean. All plaques are well marked. Some are a little confusing as the names are not marked with years of service but it's very nice to see this memorial
