Confirmed from Epworth Arches - Wilderness Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Epworth Arches - Wilderness Park
“Excellent hiking trails and beautiful views!”
Wilderness Park is by far my favorite place in Lincoln. This park stretches for miles, has some beautiful walking trails, a decent stretch of horse trails, quite a lot of bike trails, and so many parking lots that you'll be set for any size gathering.
This is a real fun trail, lots to look at nature wise. I did a loop and out and back on these trails. Did 3.95 mi take me 1h 16m. Trails were well maintained since it has been so dry out that I had no problem with mosquitos, ticks, and giggers. It was truly a great day for being out.
Excellent hiking trails and beautiful views! Plenty of shade from the trees too so we didn't get burnt.
I really enjoy walking around in the woods more when it's darker outside because it's kinda spooky. It's over all a great experience during the day and when it's dark, it's very peaceful. To anyone looking for a fun adventure walk go here! =)
