Confirmed from Stransky Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Neighborhood, gated park known for its waterfalls and summer concert series held every Thursday.
What runners say about Stransky Park
“Very clean, kids loved the equiptment, and going up the stairs to the waterfall area.”
“Beautiful waterfall, little dog statue, picnic area under gazebo, little playground, and during the summer's there is live music.”
“There was probably 5 other people in the park but it was still quiet and pleasant.”
It says on the plaque in the park, "It is their [Stransky's] wish to give a place of beauty back to the many customers that supported them in the near South and Irvingdale neighborhoods." And let me tell you, they did just that! It's like and island of peace and beauty in the middle of the city.
Great park with lots of features and amenities. Has a gazebo for shaded seating, and lots of benches spread through out the park as well. A a small playground for children that has a climbing structure and swings. Beautiful water feature that you can take the stairs up and overlook the park. Nice walking trail.
For an outdoor concert. Best sounding. Not a bad sight, anywhere. For a visit extremely clean. People were standing in the grass. No concerns about cuts from glass or branches. Parking was excellent. Had to walk. But no problem finding a good place. People were friendly.
A very nice park that's a bit cozy with a waterfall. Has picnic seating and lots of grass. Whole park is fenced in so it's easy to let little kids run.

“Water area and water fountain was empty / turned off which makes sense since it's just now warming up.”
