Confirmed from Evergreen Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park with walking trails through forested areas, a calendar of local events & picnic tables.
What runners say about Evergreen Park
“Very beautiful place to walk and think, observe and read about wildlife, grill a meal with friends, and maybe catch fish if the herons dropped any eggs in the ponds.”
Evergreen Park is the best place to walk around in all of Sheboygan. I love following the river. The only negative is that it stays wet for a long time after the rain and there are giant puddles.
Beautiful trails through the park! Only walked about 3/4 of Mike and there were many left yet but my kids were too excited to go to the splash pad they got sick of walking faster than normal. I especially loved the little waterfalls and views. Good place to take the family for a picnic or a walk. Bugs weren't even bad.
This park is really beautiful and great for biking, walking or just relaxing on the beach
It's mostly an Evergreen forest with a paved pathway through it. There are some bike paths and elementary 'mountain' biking available. Good for picnics and social gatherings if you need space for a grill and socializing.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
