Confirmed from Pigeon River Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Rustic, kid-friendly destination with walking trails and a river that allows kayaking.
What runners say about Pigeon River Park
“There is also a nice hiking path that supplies some truly beautiful views.”
Just a small park with trails and water access. Plenty of spots for fishing, kayaking, hiking and biking
Nice little park. No restrooms, basically a canoe or kayak launching site. Perhaps a trail connects here also.
This is a gem in Sheboygan. Beautiful nature walk with lots of wild life. Deer, ducks, turkey, seagulls, pelicans, squirrel, cranes, various birds, and we even saw a bald eagle. The fishing is decent here as well, especially if you go with waders.
Nice area, great area for kayaking, no idea for fishing but talked to a few fishing there and nothing. But overall nice little area with trail would recommend to bring bug stray the horseflies and deer flies are killer lol.

“nice well kept park with benches to sit and watch the river, a woodchip walking trail along the river (could use more chips its a little hard to avoid the mud).”
“No restrooms, basically a canoe or kayak launching site.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
