We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Explorer Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Explorer Trail
We love this explorer trail. It’s got plenty of stations with interactive learning steps and challenges. It’s kind of whatever you make of it, but it’s a cool way to get into nature, learn and relax without even leaving town.
Beautiful hidden nature retreat in the middle of town! This park offers tons of different little trails that shoot off and reconnect with the main path, that are perfect for walking the dog and just enjoying a few quiet moments in nature.
Short level trail with info placards and balance beams etc. Relaxing and casual.
I love this place but I don't like the things they added on the trails because it kinda takes away from the scenery but that is just my opinion
