Confirmed from Exton Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Accessible county park spanning 727 acres, with 3 sports fields, biking & walking trails & a pond.

This beautiful little gem is hidden away from all the hustle and bustle in Exton. Once you find the parking lot there is a lot to do. The park has two playground structures that are unique and fun. Volley ball courts and open fields if you desire space for a pick up game.
I visited Exton Park for the first time on Saturday November 2, 2019. I found the park with the aid of my car's navigation system from the address on Maps. I walked around the swampy lake but I didn't see anything interesting to photograph. I knew it's the wrong time of year to see any wildlife.
The Exton Park/Chester Trail is located off Swedesford Road, with two access points. One from Swedesford and the other from Church Farm Lane, along the Chester County Trail.

Plan your run at Exton Park
The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
