Confirmed from Boot Road Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Boot Road Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (179 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 8 mentions

“It also has a decent playground for the kids and well kept ball fields, though those are locked up normally.”

Love walking here. Well maintained, clean and nice path. My experience has been disappointing lately as other visitors are not practicing social distancing. I politely move over and around as others walk in large groups or jog down the middle of the path.

This jewel of a park his very well maintained. This park is very accessible: it has many handicap parking spaces and the trail is paved with offshoots that go to the ball fields and the picnic pavillion. This is park has two playground sets: one for younger children and one for ages 5 plus.

★★★★★ — R , Sep 2018

This is perfect place for a quick aerobic exercise. There is a nice walking trail around the park, we typically take 2 loops in about 20 minutes. Not too crowded. Always parking space. You can enjoy seating on a grass or one one of many benches. There is also a connecting road from park to a nearby group of houses.

★★★★★ — Milorad , Oct 2022

It has paved paths around the park for running, walking, etc. Also it has a decent play area for children.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 7 mentions

“Unfortunately when I went there was some bicyclist riding not only on the trail but also in the parking lot and over the lawns, some people have no manners unfortunately.”
