Confirmed from Fair Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“They have a splash pad, two fenced-in in dog parks, walking trails and exercise equipment.”

First off my son loves this park. Plenty of stuff to do. There are 2 playground areas, a skate park, a baseball field, plenty of walking trails, and a splash pad. There is also tons of room to run around and throw the football or baseball.

Fair Park is a great place to knock out a few hours it's has two different playgrounds one covered. It has a ok size swing set but the seller is it has a splash pad we love it it's simple but the kids can spend hours there. There's only two benches to sit so definitely take a chair or towel to claim a spot.

★★★★★ — James , Apr 2023

I absolutely love this park! They have a splash pad, two fenced-in in dog parks, walking trails and exercise equipment. I've gone during the day and also late at night and have always had a good experience! Perfect place to bring the family and the dogs to have a great time.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 14 mentions

“Great place for your kids to different activities such as; skateboard, swing, play at the splash pad, play on the playground, tennis and a dog park too!”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
