I love walking this trail, especially the new addition. It is very peaceful and you feel far away from civilization. It has great hills as well. I like how they marked the trail every tenth of a mile and that if I walk from one end to the other and back, I have walked five miles.
This trail goes from Leech Street to Stone Road which is a good distance . It's blacktop All the way with decent trails off along the blacktop
Best trail in East Texas. Gets better and better everytime the city adds new paths and parking. Always safe and clean. Might be cool to add lights for early sunsets in the fall.
Perfect for walking/jogging. Me and my boy loved it. So peaceful. Nature all around as well.
