Confirmed from Fairfax Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring picnic and play areas, plus basketball and tennis courts, a baseball field, and a playground.
What runners say about Fairfax Park
“Clean, big park with covered areas to reserve for a birthday party for a 3 yr.”
“Absolutely love walking my Dog here.”
This is the kinda park u bring the whole family too. It's quite and has great amenities, basketball, base ball and tennis and hand ball. The park has a path all the way round and thru it. There's a water ditch run off that always has water in it, not suitable for play. But it adds to the parks beauty.
Clean, big park with covered areas to reserve for a birthday party for a 3 yr. old. The tennis courts turned oyt to be the best place to let the kids run a muck. They were contained and safe from wandering off. So play ground, tennis courts, rolling hills for the kids, civered sitting areas and Port a Potties.
Absolutely love walking my Dog here. Dog loves rolling in the grass. My Dog abides by the Leash Law. I do see some people don't and just let their dogs run loose without one. That isn't okay in my Book. I think of safety 🦺 for my Dog, he's on a leash and has a harness.
Winter for Labor Day picnic and it was very cool. Had a very cool playground. Softball field basketball courts is like a a tiny river running through it. It’s pretty awesome there.
