Confirmed from Fairview Wetlands Scenic Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is a 1.0 mile loop on a barkdust trail through a small wetlands and nature preserve. You can park at the Oregon Fish & Wildlife HQ and cross Fairview Industrial Drive to the trailhead. There are plenty of birds and ducks to see along the trail. Dogs are allowed on-leash only.

Took my grandsons there last weekend, we enjoyed the trails, and they got to see a beaver dam, as well as a beaver swimming. Beautiful place close to home, to get away from everything.

Nothing too special. The wetlands are pretty, and the trail is a nice little escape for being located in/by an industrial area. It's good for a little walk, the trail is well maintained and the signs give some nice information about the history and benefits, but I don't think most people would want to spend much more…

Great walk for bird 🐦 watching. The phenomenal photos on Google maps led me here. There is a trail of barkchips to walk on, and you can see birds in the sky, on trees, and in the water. It'd be a good idea to take a camera along and have an easy walk.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 7 mentions

“Short trail with really no where to park (at least that we could find) - had to park in an industrial building parking lot.”
