This is a medium sized park that is quite picturesque and is full of people walking dogs. It is a mix of mature evergreen trees and younger deciduous. There are concrete walking paths as well as some nature paths. The play area has sections for different ages and the whole park is very well kept.
Very clean, family oriented with equipment for kids to play on. I see some kind of cleaning or checking on it's almost every time I go there. Great park to start walking in, paved paths are even and well cared for. Unpaved has bark chips on them so you shouldn't get muddy walking your four-legged friends.
Well maintained, nice park to walk or just relax. Hit and miss with off leash dogs.
This is one of our favorite Salem city parks. There is not a ton of parking, but usually you can find a spot close by. If you have a dog (on a leash) or kids this is a fun place to visit. There are two play grounds, one for kids over 5 and one for kids 2-5 years old.
