Confirmed from Falling Waters Park Michigan's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

Good Rails to Trails ride. 10 miles each way. No hills, crosses Lime lake.

Unfortunately I think we parked opposite of the visitors center I'm not sure. But the trail we walked for maybe a mile and a half or so. It was pretty chilly out. Beautiful views and trails paved or un paved. You can walk bike jog and bring you dogs if you want.

This is a quiet, peaceful small park that tells about the Potawatomi natives and early American settlers who once lived and gathered here. We watched Sandhills cranes fly overhead. It is a short distance from the Falling Water bike trail near Cross Road.

★★★★★ — Jim , Sep 2022

This trail goes all the way from Jackson Michigan to Concord. The head of the trail is near Kibby and Weatherwax not to far from Cascades. It's paved and cuts through Lime lake which is another good place to start at.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
