Confirmed from Fanchion Lewis Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“It's an easy trail but there is some elevation gain but more gradual than steep.”

I agree with someone else's review that mentioned that this is more of a nature preserve than a park. Either way it is a well maintained park and the trail is in very good shape. It's an easy trail but there is some elevation gain but more gradual than steep. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash.

Beautiful park with trails through the woods. It's more of a nature preserve than a park though because there are no trails maps and at times the trail is a tiny dirt path that is difficult to follow. Has a Port-o-Potty at the entrance. Benches at the entrance and pond in the woods.

Unbelievably beautiful, totally secluded nature preserve. Thank you Granville for leaving it completely natural. The barn at the entrance is like out of a fairy tale. If you love nature, and want to stay away from people, this is your escape. 30 miles away from Columbus

Can put for a little walk and wanted some shade. This is a great little trail. Buggy..but welcome to summer! We enjoyed our walk and it was nice that there was a little elevation to get the heart going. Recommend giving it a go!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
