Confirmed from Farquar Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Farquar Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (172 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Decent park with small walking trail, picnic area, grills, play ground.

★★★★☆ — Miraj , Jul 2023

A little bit of a walk from parking lot to get to the park. Very nice playground and is excellent for toddlers. It’s also plenty far from roads which is an extra bonus in my opinion.

★★★★★ — Mn , Aug 2023

I was looking to rent a space for the day. I had not been there, But I went. There are 2 parking lots. It was a nice day so I started walking. There is a nice lake, a small shelter at the beginning. The trail goes up hill a bit. There are nice views. They have a volley ball court, dirt on the hill.

★★★★☆ — Barbara , Aug 2022

This park has a lot: playground, basketball hoop, horseshoes, 3 pavilions (2 small, 1 medium), tennis courts, walking path with uphills and downhills, sand volleyball, fishing pier, restrooms and large grassy field.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
