Confirmed from Faulkner Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Beautiful walking trails, biking trails, varieties of sport opportunities and a great sunset watching spot!”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Also, there’s a hiking trail (not paved, great for adventuring with littles) that I don’t even know if it’s supposed to be a trail but it’s nice and serene.”

This was my first time to go and visit this park. I was entitled for a day and a 1/2 and I needed to go for a walk and I found this one to be close to where I was staying. There is plenty of parking at the entrance and a beautiful little bridge starting the path.

I walked my dogs today throughout the trails area for about five miles. There is still more to see, but I thought the trails were very well maintained. There is a main pedestrian loop around most of the trails that seems to have one trail through the middle.

Just did the small loop trail during a lunch break & seen a mama deer & her 2 precious fawns! Seen them several times during my walk. Nice clear trails to walk & quiet as long as there's no sports. This park seems to have a lot for kiddos, will come back & take a closer look around when I'm not on a time limit!

My favorite park in Tyler. It has shirt walks in the woods to the pond, or you can spend hours on the larger trail. Walkers and bikers are always nice and courteous on the trails. I've seen deer, rabbit, squirrel, ducks, and armadillos.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
