Confirmed from Finderne Wetlands' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

So many animals! I saw many different deer, heron, all kinds of birds, and got some wonderful pictures. The trails are beautiful and well maintained and it's a large area that takes a while to explore. Went 90 mins before sunset and stayed til just after sunset. Highly recommend and will be back.
Nice area to take your dog for a walk. You may see deer, foxes, geese and herons. There are a lot of ticks!
I love this little local park. It's close by and flat. It's good for off leash dog walks and prepping my puppy to follow me on my bike. It's often empty which is great but just be aware that the wildlife tend to run the place.
Nice spot. Park at the Tropey Complex and it's about 2.25 miles car to car. There's very few people around. Trail is a mixture of gravel, grass, and dirt, and is a good spot to walk, run, or bike. There is one area that is washed out and requires some careful stepping through a ditch.
Trail conditions & character
“Nice trails, flat, and a cool area as this is basically a giant floodplain which the raritan river wraps around.”

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
