Confirmed from Fisher Meadows Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Fisher Meadows Trailhead
“Not only are there beautiful fields (for humans only not pets,) but the hiking is breath-taking!”
“These trails are pretty well maintained and it's an easy walk or run so any skill level can do it”
What a place! Not only are there beautiful fields (for humans only not pets,) but the hiking is breath-taking! Some of the more secluded trails are very narrow (single file line style) but only the trails off the river are like this, definitely manageable to pull off to the side if need be but be cautious.
We followed the trail down to the water district tower, then looped around part of Spring Lake. If you stay on the main trail and avoid the grass, ticks will not be an issue. The terrain is flat
Such a nice place to run or walk along the Farmington River. These trails are pretty well maintained and it's an easy walk or run so any skill level can do it
Great Farmington River Walk-About. Big parking lot. Well maintained trail. Great views of the river. Park benches to enjoy the view.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
