We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Avon Land Trust Trail To Heublein Tower yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Avon Land Trust Trail To Heublein Tower
Trailhead for the Morganti Skyline trail to Heublein Tower and the Garvin/Maher/Spring trail complex on the west slopes of Talcott Ridge. Trail to Tower is steeply graded in places, so shoes with good traction and a hiking pole are recommended.
Great alternative to the main trail entrance. A bit tougher of a hike but well worth it.
Absolutely challenging and wonderful trail. Wow I can't wait to take my wife.
