Confirmed from Fisherman's Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Fisherman's Trail
“It has alternative routes through the wooded areas if you want to dip out of the sun into the shade.”
Nice off the beaten path trail with scenic views of the bayou and connecting trails as well. Excellent for mountain biking.
Great place for a long relaxing walk, views are amazing and just a great outdoors spot. Just BE very CAREFUL there are so many caterpillars insects, you gotta watch where you walk, wouldn’t recommend to take kids or dogs.
Fisherman’s Trail at George Bush Park is a nature lover’s paradise in Katy/Houston Calm walking trails filled with wildlife like: baby alligators, wild pigs, and even opossums! Perfect for a peaceful walk, photography, or just escaping the city. Don’t forget your curiosity and sense of adventure!
Nice dirt trail. It has alternative routes through the wooded areas if you want to dip out of the sun into the shade. Be aware that I saw a bunch of hog poop and foot prints. This is definitely on my hiking trail return list.
