Confirmed from Willow Fork Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean park featuring a playground and a butterfly garden, plus disc golf courses and picnic facilities.
What runners say about Willow Fork Park
“This park is well maintained and located very conveniently right off the highway and across the street from La Centerra.”
“I am training for my very first 5k run and I have been enjoying finding beautiful parks for my training runs.”
Aside from a pet-friendly park, it's kid-friendly as well. Has a small playground but plenty of bench/sitting areas for small gatherings. The park has a decent desk golf course. Plenty of wildflowers to admire and plenty of walking trails. In my opinion, it's a beauty when the sun is setting but don't wait too late.
Beautiful park to exercise, take a nice stroll, or just sit and relax with nature. Nice trail with spots to sit along the way.
Needed to kill some time before a movie at the Alamo draft house… So I came here. I was thinking it was going to be a basic small park. I was surprised it has frisbee golf! A covered area for gatherings . A beautiful scenic walk with neat informations guides on the habitat and whose home it belongs to!
My review is mainly for the disc golf course here, but the entire park ks gorgeous and beautiful. Walkability is great and the scenery is very nice. You do have to watch out for pedestrians when teeing off, but I went early so it's not too bad. The tee pads here are nice and big.

“It is gorgeous and a wonderful place to meet family, friends, or clients for dog training sessions.”
“There are small hills in the park area (where most people gather) so if I don't want elevation I'll stick to the trail area (which is mainly flat from what I could see).”
“Restrooms and grills and pretty much everything you need for a good family fun day!”
“It was beautiful and has a lovely water fountain (which is one of my favorite things in life).”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
