Confirmed from Fitzgerald Walking Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public space offering gravel pathways for jogging and biking and scenic woodland trails, plus a dog park.
What runners say about Fitzgerald Walking Trail
Fitzgerald walking trail is my favorite place to walk in the Orange/ Wood Ridge/ Amity area.. Tranquill is my best word I can use to describe it. When you go there you can sit down a bench and drift off watching the beautiful trees, flowers, and birds.
This place is great. The trail is nice and flat and perfect for small legs! My two year old didn't quite make it around the full loop but almost!
We really like this park. It's small, but it's great. With a dog park, a gravel trail to stroll or bike with small kids and the community gardens there's plenty to do here. Just please pick up after your dogs. Please.
Great Walking track with exercises, hiking trails in the woods, Community Garden with lovely roses and flowers and veggies and a Dog Park. Good outdoor experience, but picked up my one and only tick at the last visit in Sept. Also watched a HighSchool XCountry meet, very exciting!

- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
