Confirmed from Flewellen Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Disc golf, kid-friendly park featuring a playground, an exercise area, a bridge and waterways.
What runners say about Flewellen Creek Park
“I love this park bike riding is my thing everyday if I could beautiful place love the water a around it go TEXAS”
Beautiful scenery for walking. I went to play disc golf. I went in with 5 dics and came out with 2. Lost two discs in muddy water (please be careful, water was up to my knees - I am 5'1"). Lost third disc in tall grass after seeing a large snake.. notice: I am a beginner. Was very tough for me.
This is a very nice Park, with a wide path for everyone to go in both directions. It's not all flat which is nice and there are plenty of trees and vegetation to make it interesting. It even has a Frisbee Golf setup. There's an extension to the trail which can make your walk quite a bit longer.
Great place to get some exercise and walk your dog. Golf frisbee course along the park. Some exercise stations and scenic landscape. Often see people taking portraits using the bridge and natural backdrop

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
