Confirmed from Florida Panther NWR Hiking Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Florida Panther NWR Hiking Trails
“Very beautiful place off the beaten path to stretch your legs.”
Interesting that the sign includes no nudity lol. I'm not trying to get naked with Panthers running around. I'm very adventurous so I did the hike alone. Beautiful wooded pathway leads to open field area. There was a rest area with roof.
I've stopped in this place probably 5 times and finally was able to convince my wife to do the trail with me. You have two options, a fairly short trail, with 1/3 of a mile, or a longer trail, wich is 1 1/3.
So cool in August when it’s full of locusts. I did not see any panther tracks but, I was very depressed that day and just walked the trail and left. The trails are well maintained and wide enough for groups.
Lovely setting, but there should be a warning for those who are a bit infirm. The trail is largely roots and branches which is fine as long as you don't trip.
