We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Foothills Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Foothills Park
“One of the highlights of Foothills Park is the picturesque pond and the gentle stream that flows into it.”
Cute little park with a nice walking trail. Easily accessible from two separate entrances. Lots of trees and several playgrounds. Good sized hill for sledding when there is snow. Walking trail takes you around the whole outside of the park and is a nice 10 minute walk that is fairly flat.
Love this little park. It's got a few baby swings, a couple normal swings. You walk up the hill a little bit. Then there's a tiny little playground with a slide in the little climbing area. Cool trail to walk around. There's a lot of running space for kiddos and a big hill to roll down.
Small trail that I was able to walk, but it is connected to the house is nearby. The trail has rocks, but there's plenty of grass areas for your dog to walk on. There are also bunnies in the area.So make sure you pay attention to your dog.
Beautiful park with lots of grass and hills. Plenty of space to let the dogs run wild. Very well maintained and the grass is kept cut.
