I brought my teenage sons here to practice baseball. It was a great time until a group of 15-20 people showed up while we were using the field. They stood at the 3rd base line staring at us for roughly 20 minutes. It seems like they were trying to intimidate us into leaving. We did not.
Lots of dog poop due to dog owners with Twitter and Facebook obligations to get back to... Kids play sports here and locals run here, and still folks feel that the grass isn't good enough for them. They need to add some dog waste in order to bring it up to snuff.
I was at this park to watch Girls on the Run 5k. It was, of course, very busy. I was surprised by how much parking was availble. There were easy walking, paved trails as well as some gravel trails and tons of grass. It it rare to find a park where you can bring dogs, so that was a nice surprise.
It's a great park for your kids to run around and they have 3 baseball fields. There is a small play ground, yhe slides are a bit high of the ground but my toddler still loves them.
