Confirmed from Foskett Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
42-acre park featuring a softball complex, 3 playgrounds, a soccer field & a walking path.
What runners say about Foskett Regional Park

“I was very impressed with his beautiful park!”
“The only thing that could make this park a little better is a couple more benches to eat at and some shade trees near the fields.”
Great Ball fields for sports, nice paved trail around the park, and clean bathrooms if needed!
We were there for a softball tournament. 4 well maintained fields in a homeplate hub layout with small lots circling all around the fields. Not a lot of viewing options with shade but there are new bleachers for home and away teams at each field.
Great park where you can play all kinds of sports including baseball, softball, soccer, football. Great space for flying a kite or just letting the kids run around. There is also a playground for toddlers and another for older kids.
Great place for a jog or walk. Well taken care of. Great place to walk your dog. Has dog park as well. 4 softball fields. Building a BMX track for use. Also toddler size BMX for the little ones.
Trail conditions & character
“But it was nice, clean, no lines at restrooms and lots of food choices within a couple miles (even if it feels like you're out in Timbuktu).”
“But the parking spaces available is minimal during game times, noticeably difficult for handicap parking and availablity to those that require it.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
