Confirmed from Four Mile Creek Greenway, Matthews' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Easy-going trail stretching through a suburban greenway, with scenic views.

Absolutely beautiful! I walked 8 miles🥰 4 in & 4 back out. Beautiful sceneries chock full of nature. Beautiful beautiful & did I say... beautiful!!
Enjoyed walking this greenway to Squirrel Lake Park and back with husband. The trail continues further but this was our first time, so we explored the park a bit as well. We parked on E. John St., but realized there is also parking in Squirrel Lake Park that would be off road and closer to restrooms.
LOVE this greenway! Way to go Town of Matthews for creating something very special ... paved path is beautiful, well maintained and clean! Miles of natural adventures await - park has playground, bathrooms, disc golf course, meandering creeks, pond, benches, etc.
