Confirmed from Four Ponds Conservation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Wonderful place for a nice 2 to 3 mile walk. Foliage is beautiful although just starting I hope to get back before it’s gone

Was one of the people who replaced the old sign, man was it a bug-ger 😉to replace the sign. And my school made the new one. Although it would’ve looked better if we painted some of it. (About the Trail): Awesome amazing trail! Perfect for a date and a hike!

★★★★★ — Alewanimates , Aug 2023

Peaceful and quiet hiking trails with lots of wildlife and biodiversity. Wetlands and ponds are the main attractions. Four Ponds connects to the Town Forest, however, the trail system may be confusing to those who are unfamiliar with the area.

★★★★★ — Richard , May 2023

Beautiful area with miles of trails! You could literally hike all day!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
