Confirmed from Franklin Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Well-kept park, featuring playground equipment, a baseball field, softball fields and tennis courts.
What runners say about Franklin Park
“The bathrooms are not clean so try to avoid them if possible.”
Nice park.. Creek nearby can swim in , kids can play in, also fish in it. Walking, biking trails lead up to the park. Really nice playground area that was just updated in 2018. This playground is special needs friendly as well. Nice size shelter house with plenty of picnic tables, BBQ grill as well.
Great park! I've really enjoyed watching my son play baseball. He also loves the playground and we both love the trail. If I had to give a negative, it would be that it would be nice if they had dog water fountains and it's hard as a new person to see the numbers on the fields from the drive.
Wonderful family park. Excellent playground, lots of positively active parents. Park has plenty of space to run and has picnic tables and a picnic shelter. My kids love it there.
If you hate running on a continuous loop around the park then this is definitely the park for you. This is where I go to Rollerblade because I can go from Franklin park to the Saratoga Homes, to friendship gardens and even all the way to Hummel park and back. I'm never running the same "loop" over and over.
