Confirmed from Friendship Gardens Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Friendship Gardens Park
“Beautiful, well-kept gardens and a really peaceful atmosphere.”
“Beautiful park and took some great pictures there, loved the waterfall wish I would've got pics of it but didn't have my phone”
“Very serene with the trees and squirrels along with rabbits to see.”
I enjoy coming to Friendship Gardens Park when I want to get some steps in or to relax by one of the water features in the park. The park is very well maintained. There is a large gazebo that is great if you are having a get together or meeting and I have even seen couples get married there in the past.
One of my favorite little town parks. Great for pictures & easy access to the White Lick Creek trail. There aren't any playgrounds at this park, but there are bathrooms, gazebos, a waterfall landscape/waterscape feature, an old bridge that was relocated to the park, etc.
So pretty. My great-grandfather and an old family friend is on the World War II memorial. I think it is a great place for family photos, walks, and just family time or alone nature time. :)
It is a nice trail for walking, biking, and jogging. You can walk as far or short as you want. There is also Franklin Park that is joined to the trail by walking over a bridge as well. Or you can stay on the trail and continue up past the aquatic Center.
