What runners say about Freedom trail
The Freedom Trail is a nice walking path in Meadow Brook Park. It extends from the parking lot north towards the railroad tracks as a loop and south towards to mountains going very slightly uphill. That part is an up-and-back section. You can also access the south section from the Golden Hills CSD office.
This trail is an access point between main arterial routes (Golden Hills, Valley Blvd) and Meadowbrook Park bike trails. It's well-maintained, nice scenery and connects with single and doubletrack trails that lead into the steeper mountainous terrain.
