Confirmed from Fremont Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park with a multipurpose field for soccer and other sports, a playground, and sand volleyball courts.
What runners say about Fremont Park
“Not a lot of shade due to young trees and a slight drainage problem around the northern edge of the fields can make for some damp shoes if you're not careful.”
My dog loved the dog park! It had lots of areas to run, and I could walk on the walkway around it. Unfortunately, my dog found a pool of mud near the tunnel at the park, and she gave herself a good soak! She loved it, though. It was very clean. The other dog owners were very respectful.
large open field. covered pavilion, playground, and bathrooms open now. sand volleyball court, but not used that way anymore, mostly a large sand box for kids to play in. parking next to the field and by the start of a walking trail that splits north and south. Usually empty except for spring and fall soccer.
Fun little play area for kids. Nice trail next to park. Great field for soccer/football games. Sometimes bathrooms are locked up, so make sure you plan ahead for that, usually open when there are planned activities such as practice or games
This is a fun park for people to gather. It's not too big and not too small. There's easy access to the trail and the playground. Ultimately, this is one of the best places to have fun hanging out with family and friends!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
