Confirmed from Legacy Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Lush-lawned park, featuring a playground and a pond that's home to frogs.

What runners say about Legacy Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (136 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“The trees and lawn are well kept and there are nice paved pathways.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“It is a really beautiful park and its just far enough back in there that it's not usually busy.”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

The pond is pretty cool here, unfortunately the city doesn't maintain it, so even though the fountains run, the pond is covered in algae and doesn't look like the water circulates at all. Despite that there are amphibious animals that live here like frogs and snakes.

Wish the waterfall worked. It isn't very crowded but mostly well maintained. Not the best playground for kids. Nice grass area with a walking path. It's a great place for a picnic but there are better parks nearby if you're looking for playground for the kids.

★★★★☆ — Nathan , Jul 2024

Beautiful for a wedding. There's a gazebo 2 fountains and a bridge and a lottt of beautiful trees. If you just want to go there to have fun there is a lot of space for kids to run around and play and a little park. Love this park

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
