Confirmed from Frenchtown Township Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Frenchtown Township Park
“A great park well maintained, nice kids play ground, tennis courts , socker field, basketball ball.”
“We took our dog for a walk here and it was really nice!”
We always enjoy the wide open AND enclosed spaces provided!!! Gives Sarge the chance to run and play off leash. He REALLY enjoys running around in the enclosed tennis court when it's accessible and (...of course...) not being used by others.
My dog Riley and I love to walk around the park! She walks proud at passersby and loves to be pet by the little kids playing on the playscape!
Nice little park with a nice walking path, Basketball court, soccer fields and I believe a restroom.
This is a nice little park, and seems fairly well maintained. The walking trail that loops all the way around the park is around 0.8 miles or so. We took our dog for a walk here and it was really nice!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
