We did a few trails, but we were one of the lucky ones to catch a 2am light show without leaving town. It was so bright I even recorded video of it on my phone, and there was a full moon. I could only imagine what it would have been like with no moon.
Would recommend!!! Went for the morning free guided tour of the premises. Mostly for bird watching, but was a little bit of everything, Birds, History, Animals, Gold Rush, etc... Was a lot of fun. Takes about an hour.
Great place in town to see the lights. I live in Fairbanks and don't get to see them in my location, but I quick trip to creamer's field and there they are! Also great for quick walks in the summer with the dogs. They occasionally have activities as well.
I had the pleasure of visiting this stunning place today, and it was an absolute gem! The moment I stepped foot into the park, I was enveloped in a sense of serenity. The towering trees, swaying gently in the breeze, created a peaceful atmosphere that was nothing short of enchanting.
