Confirmed from Friendship Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
A 23-acre plot with sports fields, picnicking, a playground & creek access for canoeing & fishing.
What runners say about Friendship Park
“Very clean park two good size gazebo like shelters a walking path/bike path.”
“Nestled off the beaten path a quick turn off Granville Street back behind the old barber and the Wendy's is a beautiful place to play.”
The pinnacle of playground delight. Only thing is missing is something that spins. Aside from that it has everything a kid, and his child at heart father, could desire. Throw in a nice trail and we've got a recipe for success.
This beautiful park is a Gahanna gem. Nestled in a sleepy historic neighborhood. When pulling in you are greeted by one of the two covered picnic areas. The play area offers four swings. The alternative play areas have equipment designed for ages ranging from 2-12.
Fun park for all ages. The play equipment has slides tall enough for bigger kids. Playground with swings, natural walking trail and a creek. Definitely worth a visit. The waterway has kayak access.
When I was a child, my grandma used to take my brothers and me here to run around and walk through the little trails, so I've been visiting this place for decades! 🌳 The park is a great place for children to play on the playground and to meander around without getting lost in the wooded areas.

“The best is if you wander far enough down the path you will find yourself lost in a green wonderland with the sound of the Rocky Fork Creek not far away.”

- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
