Confirmed from Fritse Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

A gorgeous park! It has an amazing trail that connects around the whole lake, there’s a working facility for visitors to use, the playset is pretty new, and the fishing is great if you time the season correctly. Come get some fresh air and enjoy the upcoming Spring weather!

28Jul23 1030 A friend and I spent having a lovely day walking in this park. One will be smiling and laughing when they go down the slide!

I love this park and so does my son. I am so glad the old slide is still there. The new playground equipment is in good condition. The bathrooms are clean. The bike trails are right there.

★★★★★ — Allyce , Sep 2022

Fritse Park is a great place to bring the kids to play on all the playground equipment or just take a walk down by the water and through the wooded area. It is a part of the Loop the Lake trail and the Trestle Trail bridge starts/ends here. There is a bike repair station and restrooms are available.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
