Gorgeous place to take a walk, tons of birds... we got there at sunset and definitely recommend!
On bike it didn’t take too long to finish the loop and I was able to stop and drink in the view. There’s great signage and I mostly knew where I should be turning to continue. There was one spot where I was confused and had to stop and look at a map and it’s right before the loop enters next to the road.
Beautiful views from the bridge as you cross over Little Lake Butte Des Morts with pelicans, cranes, ducks, and other sea birds. Can be smelly at times, depending on time of year. I don't think the full loop is really worth the effort.
This is a awsome trail, i could not imigine better than this. This is a trial over lake, yes it is. It is fantastic place to spend your weekend with many activities, biking, hiking, boating, fishing, bird watching, enjoy the mother naturea.
