Confirmed from Frontier Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Sizable park featuring play areas, a seasonal splash pad & fields for soccer & baseball.
What runners say about Frontier Park
“Great park, clean restrooms, fields, and stands are in great condition.”
“Has very little shade, lots of seating, somewhat fenced in, no turf only woodchips.”
Great park, clean restrooms, fields, and stands are in great condition. Play areas aren't run down, and kids always have fun. The fireworks shows are also pretty good on the 4th! I am impressed with how well utilized this park is. They do a lot of things here year around.
Cool park with slides, swings, smaller kids and big kids area, pavilion with picnic tables, close bathrooms nearby. Pretty busy with the sports going on and limited parking in front of the park. Has very little shade, lots of seating, somewhat fenced in, no turf only woodchips.
Park renovation is moving along nicely. Additional parking and baseball fields will be a welcome addition. Great recreational area for fishing, dogs, running, and of course, sports. Primary vehicle access is from Frontier Parkway, with bike/walking access from Lakes of Prosper.
Great park and awesome area! The only real draw back for me is the lack of shade. You really miss that in these hot summer months
