Kayak ramp is awesome and fishing is excellent. Huge bass. Caught my PB here. Water is extremely clear but lots of growth along the shores. Bring weedless rigs. The dock is a good little walk while toting a kayak. A kayak cart is helpful.
Beautiful nature close to home. Nature offers so much and it is within 30 mins drive from home. Pleasant scenery of the lake. You can relax all day long. Use your own boat in the lake or do fishing. I could enjoy by just seeing the lake and the park. Plenty of space in the park for kids and adults for a picnic.
We thought we would go for a nice little walk. It started off great but then we weren’t sure which way to go, got lost and finally made our way back to the parking lot. Maybe we missed the sign telling us where the walking trail was?? But the park is beautiful!
Learned about the Osage orange today. What a neat Park! What a neat Lake! Rolling hills and grass as far as I could see in an absolutely quiet neighborhood tucked away in Prosper.
