Confirmed from Frost Woods' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Well, it is basically in my backyard and I have spent most of my life on one side or the other of these woods, but it is ideal for a quick and easy hike in town. The trails have recently been cleaned up and remarked. It’s also popular with mountain bike riders although I usually don’t run into people too often here.
The hiking trail runs right behind a neighborhood but it was pretty quiet and well maintained. There were a couple of nice hills, nothing super challenging.
we parked at frost school and started the trail from here. beautiful trail, not very many people at all.
This is such a great hiking trail. I took my two boys here today. You can get in some great hikes and are close to everything. The trails are nicely cleaned and marked. It is quite a large area to cover, and there are a lot of trails that are not marked that detour shorter routes into other trails.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
