Confirmed from Garfield Park Reservation's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Nice park with old historic structures and signage. All purpose trail and more rustic paths. †********* Update It seems a lot of the historic structures and signage are gone. They've done a lot of remodeling. They're going to be offering beginners kayak classes including those for disabled. The park is well kept.

Great little spot located in Garfield Park reservation. Plenty of walking paths in the area. Great place to picnic. Has a pavilion and a new pavilion is just been completed. August 2025 the restoration has been completed. There are plenty of brand new trails to see plus the restored bridge and fishing area.

I’ve always liked this park. But visiting recently and actually walking the unpaved trail paths, it made me love the park 😂. I wish the Wolf Creek had a stronger flow because that would make the interior of the park 1000 times better.

My girlfriend and I visited this newly renovated public park yesterday and were really impressed -- me especially, since I group up in the area and remember what it looked like before the renovation. I mean, it wasn't bad back then in the nineties and oughts... But now it is just gorgeous!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
