Excellent location for music and other community events, historic markers, great for solo travelers and families, gorgeous foliage and trees, bordered by the Powder river and bike trail.
Stopped by this park to let the kids run around while on a road trip. What a fantastic find. Loved the inclusion for different abilities at this park, the communication board was especially appreciated as a parent of a non verbal child.
Beautiful city park, centrally located downtown. Adjacent to the city library and with the river flowing along one edge, while the museum is on the opposite side (across the street). Park grounds are well-maintained with a decorative fence surrounding the outer perimeter.
We had lunch here as we drive through town and it's a place we will come back to on our annual trip! Great playground, picnic table and squirrels running around. The creek and library are in the South end. Lots of parking.
