We had a great walk/hike of about 2 miles today at Geitner Park in Hickory, NC with grandkids Connor and Aria along the newly opened portion of the "River Walk". We can't wait until all is completely open!!!
One of my most favorite parks to visit in the area! Morning and evening walks are amazing. The views are beautiful and it’s so serene! Remember… leave no trace!
A beautiful place to take a small hike, have a picnic, and be by the water. Perfect for strollers and people who may not be able to hike on rocky trails. Slight hill up and down but all of the walk is flat.
