Confirmed from Hickory Greenway Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking, biking, and walking trails around a lake with picnic tables and a pump track.
What runners say about Hickory Greenway Trailhead
“It was very well maintained and all trails were visable with markers.”
“State of the art architecture and beautiful vistas of the Lake Hickory and 321.”
Mountain trail hiking right in the middle of town. It's a close drive with the end result being a water view trail. Dog, bike and Walker friendly!
Nice green way for walking or riding. Lots of shade too. Some nice people out there today.
Really fun mountain bike trail system! I would love it if the town I lived in had something like this. The trail builders did a fantastic job of getting the most miles out of the space they had to work with. Trails are really well signed and maintained too.
Great paved Greenway trail. Be aware it is fairly steep so what goes does must come back up. A lot of biking trails off the main trail. Appeared to be very busy on weekends. It was very well maintained and all trails were visable with markers. Would definitely run it again when in the area.
