Confirmed from Gemini Springs Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Gemini Springs Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (3,458 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 23 mentions

“Gorgeous Spring, nice trails, fishing (at permitted location), pup friendly, club house available, close parking, the only thing this beautiful spring does not have is swimming.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 5 mentions

“It was a peaceful and relaxing spot to celebrate, and I especially enjoyed the fireworks—they were a beautiful way to end the evening.”

This is a beautiful park! The trials both walking and biking are very maintained. Lots of tables for a picnic, a fishing pier, dog park. We took the walk around the springs and the walking trials and bridges and seen 2 gators while there, both on shore and in the water.

Absolutely gorgeous park! I loved everything about it. The springs are so clear and beautiful! I really enjoyed my time here walking around in this peaceful sanctuary. Great place to picnic or read a book and relax. Or for a nice walk like I did. There was no fee and restrooms were available on site.

Interesting Park with several small springs. There is a lot of room here for getting outside and enjoying a good weather day. A small sinkhole that is still open was quite interesting to see, as were the several small springs that pour into a larger body of water that flows out to the St Johns River.

This is a great place to walk, walk your dog, fish, picnic, or lay by the water. There is tons of parking. There are specifically two parking areas. I believe there are 2 bathrooms, which is great. There are places to put in your kayak. The trees and water are so beautiful.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

Plan your run at Gemini Springs Park

The practical stuff

  • AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
