Awesome park for hiking and enjoying wildflowers. As well as seeing where history took place. There are roads to drive on if you can't hike. As well as some covered picnic areas. We are before we went so didn't investigate the picnic area much. Right now (June is a great time to see wild flowers there.
It was an absolutely lovely park to visit. There were plenty of places for picnics. The hiking trails were beautiful. They have a historic home on site that can be toured. The park also includes the peckowee battle site. This is a park I would recommend visiting.
This is a great park with lots of wonderful different things to see. It has a lot history, variety of scenic things and activities to do. The hiking trails were really nice, well maintained and well marked. You get to see a small waterfall, a pond, bridges, and the Rookery Romp play area was pretty cool.
