Confirmed from Glenshire Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Glenshire Park
“The park is very clean plenty of people walking around and playing soccer I felt very comfortable being out there”
This park is very easy to get to, at the end of West Airport on the right before Beltway 8. So that makes it easy to get in a walk or a run at any time. And now since the parking lot has been improved, many more cars can park and enter/exit safely. This park makes excercising easy for the entire family!
They paved and upgraded the parking lot. Much better to run in, gets dark and there is no lights so go early
Well maintained, neat and relatively safe. Only drawback seems to be lack of a public restroom. Had a decent trail that's good for walking, jogging and running. With a small playground for kids. Decently sized green area that can be used for playing soccer and other sports.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
